That being said, this thread is really anything-goes in relation to how the game flows and functions, how the turns work, the features/mechanics that are available, etc. and I welcome any and all comments and/or criticisms you may have.

Please, let me and all the rest of us know what's on your mind - what could make the game better? What new ideas do you think would fit in with the existing framework and what mechanics needs to go? Tell me!

@Shiver Yes, I agree that the leaderboard needs to get a reset. It would give those that joined later and/or are lower level a chance to get up high.

@Ruby101 : We technically already have bosses in the form of the robots seen in the Bosses page of the database.

As for things like the Yellow Devil, while that would be cool and all, I don't really see that happening, at least not anytime soon.

@Ruby101 : To put this into a programming perspective;

Mega Man

Due to the browser-based programming approach Prototype is composed of, this is all the space available for a single sprite. Pretty sizable for someone like Mega Man, right?

Yellow Devil

Applying that same space, this is the Yellow Devil in the max amount of space available. And unfortunately, the Yellow Devil's pretty small as bosses go.

@MegaBossMan : Huh. Kinda nice to see the basics of the space used for the sprites.

Though, to be honest, not sure if that much space is even necessary. Seems a bit much if you ask me, but I digress.

We really need a far better way to show how to unlock MM3 bots in game. The way they are currently are unlocked is confusing and a good majority of folks have had to ask how to unlock them.

Maybe Bond Man? He could be unlocked like the MM3 Robots are. Core type is the one thing I can't think of for him.

How about MMRF Robots. They could be unlocked just like MM4 Robots are. Core type is the one thing I can't think of for them.

@Alicia Nightcap : MMRF? Like Rock Force, the fangame? There is no plans for any fangame robot masters to be added, and as always, most much rather have official game robot masters before fangame and/or original robot masters. As always, reminder that Mega Man 5 has much, much been wanted, along with the games afterwards (6-10, along with & Bass.) Even if we wanted fangame 'masters, there would still be the problem with getting permission from Goldwater, Rock Force's creator. After MaGMML1 though, he has officially said he doesn't want any Rock Force 'masters without his full guidance and all that, which would just be too much trouble for what it would be worth.

I regret posting this thread

Even though this game is still in development
This game still has a lot of flaws.
Mainly the balancing issue such as Elec Man elec-man and Toad mantoad-man

Elec Man is one of the playable Robot masters with two Weaknesses and Resistances also he has an affinity but Time man time-man has two weaknesses and an immunity to make matters worse his weapon is terrible and his stats are even worse than Oil Man oil-man same for Slash Man slash-man but his weapon is okay. While, Elec Man has the 2nd best attack stat in the game and his speed is decent at best, his weapons are OP in the right circumstance and his defense is 6 points lower than Time man. Robot Masters such as Quick Man quick-man and Flash Man are way more balanced flash-man (Quick Man < Flash Man)

Toad man has the best weapon in the game not only does it attack the HP only but it ignores the opponent's defense.
However, I guess you made it not as overpowered as before and a lot of robots and Mechas either resists or take no damage from water abilities.Also what's the point of having 3 resistances (Skull Man skull-man and Hard Man hard-man).

I still can't wait for the next update though especially for the 6-9th line of Robot Masters.I make no sense...

I might have an idea to add new players into the game

Even Though this Idea sounds stupid, I've

How about other stats like

Luck- A higher Chance of Critical hits

Sp.Attack- Power for Special Moves like Rain Flush

Sp.Defense- Defense for Special Moves/ Less damage taken from Special attack

However if Sp.Attack and Sp.Defense are considered maybe ever robot master should have a physical moves like Mega Slide and Oil Slider

Now the only problem is actually adding new characters themselves , your starter with but you might as well start with Mega Man 8 since your playable starter is Duo (yes there's no doctor I'm aware)and the problem is the support characters but again you can start a contest for Fan-made Support characters. Yes you can add them and make so you have to scan and buy.

Even though I'm way to bored to edit I might have the Time to create a thread.

@Haunter ManHigher critical rate is aleardy added to prototype community.Rain Flush is balanced now and dosen't need any impled changes at moment.Special Defenses and Special attack's are enough balanced and i suppose they don't need any changes.Megaman 8 character's don't have their field's or based abilites not added in prototype and picking a starter robot master would make prototype less fun.

Falzar:Did you seriously read my comment a every Robot comes with a field and seriously already mentioned other things they could do anyway. You're seriously argue with something that I WOULD LIKE TO SEE also we still have characters like Enker who don't have their main ability yet.

Question: What if you add MM11 Robot Masters into the game (If that was possible) what core would each Robot Master be? You can only use one core per Game...

@Haunter ManYes i did read your comment.It would be impossible to pick a starter character and it would delay allot of scripting and programming.Plus it would be complicated.There is aleardy a method that we have to gain playable character's.And i aint argue with you just explaning shcematics and things how they work on prototype.

Anyway, Haunter Man, those are some fine points you make; a luck status would indeed be interesting for the sake of how Criticals work in-game. However, if we're referring to the idea of new Players being added, there's no real need when there's already a stat that hasn't been covered; there are no player characters currently representing the Energy Stat. It has been discussed and theorized that Dr. Lalinde, from the Mega Man Archie comics, could potentially cover that role for us in the realm of Prototype. This also means Robot Masters like Quake Woman and Vesper Woman could arrive alongside her, which is obviously a great bonus.

However, while the prospect of Special Attack and Special Defense is certainly an interesting idea, we really have to consider if that's really a necessary action to take. Does the game suffer without it? Does it really change how anything works? Or rather, is this just a move to make the Pokemon comparisons even more prevalent? I'll leave that as some food for thought to consider :)

But, great ideas nonetheless! Please feel free to keep suggesting what you deem needs improvement, and the staff here will continue to use those as potential references! Thank you!

P.S: I can't say for certain that they'll be these cores, but I think the 11 Robot Masters would be:
Block Man: Earth
Acid Man: Water(!)
Impact Man: Impact(duh)
Bounce Man: Swift
Fuse Man: Electric
Tundra Man: Freeze
Torch Man: Flame
Blast Man: Explode

What if Mega Man or/and Proto Man
has the Copy System from Mega
Man 11 but only time will tell
if that was going to happen
and Yes I'm aware of the space available...
When the Game gets a better engine...

Maybe Wood Man gains an immunity Swift
Slash Man and Turbo Man swap stats seriously a Beast is faster than a car also why Nature instead of cutter
