Hello everyone! I'd like to start a new tradition here on the prototype and it has to do with the newly introduced Field and Fusion Stars that appear post-game.
I would like to request that, whenever possible, you take screenshots of the "Victory" screen whenever you find a new field star in battle and post it here in this thread! You don't have to if you don't want to, do not have the equipment, or are otherwise unable to... but I think it could be a lot of fun for the people who do!
Not only will this show off some of our favourite team combinations, but it might introduce people to new Field or Fusion Stars they didn't know existed (especially Fusion Stars, you wouldn't believe how many there are to find in the game!). Once the thread has been around for a while, we'll have a visual catalogue of everyone's adventures and I think it would be incredibly cool to look back at a year from now. :)
So who's with me? Just take a screenshot of your game window when you're on the "Mission Complete" screen and then post it below. I look forward to everyone's posts over the long run and I'll post my first one up soon. ^_^
Field Star Screenshots! Show Your Star Force! Posted by Ageman20XX on January 5th, 2014 at 10:52pm Viewed 4526 Times
with 576 obtainable stars...this is quite a daunting challenge. I keep forgetting to snap some screenshots but I will say that I do love the name combinations:
Space Station Star (Ring/Crash) Submerged Jungle (Dive/Ice) Sky Laboratory (Air/Quick) Preserved Boneyard (Wood/Skull)

...Couldn't finish this post last night since the website went down at this time, but anyway, normally battles like these go much more smoothly since my Mega Man is super powerful. Being hit with both Spark Shock and Bright Burst, I lost almost 3500 DEFENSE during the battle, hence the high damage taken even though my three stats are around 3000 each.
With this I have EVERY SINGLE FLAME STAR IN THE GAME (135 Flame Stars in total). This gives me a total of 1410%+ to flame attacks. Now to get every Swift Star in the game to make Fire Chaser even MORE overpowered.
Why stop at Flame and Swift? I'm going for ALL of the stars so every elemental attack is as strong as it could be. This ought to make doing battles even against 9999 stat robots more interesting...

So I did some math earlier...if the MM3 robots were added to the campaign and they brought their Stars with them, then there would be a total of 1024 Field/Fusion Stars to collect. Perhaps we should develop something in the future to make these easier to collect; maybe an extra chapter battle that grants up to four Fusion Stars for defeating 8 randomly generated RMs?
EDIT: Epic win here.
EDIT2: And I make an accomplishment here that I do not think anyone else has ever done!
Still plugging along. I'm telling you, having a spreadsheet with all the potential Fusion stars makes this so much easier. Just wanted to relay that I'm up to #300 and have collected all the Time Man-possible stars as well as all Waterfall- and Rainy- type stars. Crystal- is next on the agenda.
@MegaBossMan Crystal as in Crystal Cave, the Flash Man stage. all of the Fusion stars are made up by taking the first name of the first robot master's stage and combining it with the last name of the second robot master's stage. I didn't mean Crystal as in Crystal Man

@...man: I guess it's because you haven't got that far, so I guess I can't blame you, but let me fill you in on how this "easy" stuff works: in order to get all the star force, you need beat EVERY SINGLE level all over again PLUS every single combination of Fusion Fields. Many people have put in 10 hours into the game yet they only get at most 95 of them. And there are more than 570 stars.

@...man Saying something is easy without even trying it is like saying COD is the only good first person shooter in this world (despite the fact that it's bad).
Look at how many I have in comparison to Shadownico, now try getting your first ten fusion stars.
