Oh no! You, yes, you over there. You are part of a thing known as the Mega Man RPG Prototype. You know that the creator and leader of this buiseness is the one and only Adrian Marceau. But, wait, he's invited you to this odd, murky dungeon. With you and other people you may or may not know, you walk into the mansion. It's remarkable, it's beautiful, but, wait, something seems odd about it. The lights are turned off, and the curtains are pulled shut, there's a note on the ground:

Typical Ransom Note style, this "???" fellow seems new to this kind of thing

Wow, this "Fellow Program" seems to have kidnapped Adrian! Will you be the one to save Adrian? Or will you just be a big weenie and run away home

Now, onto the rules of this hot mess
1. Sign Ups: Okay, this'll be a bit harsh I guess, but I'm still enforcing it. Only characters based off the user, like if you're Ender, your character will be based off of you. BUT, also, you can also use characters from Web Comics/Fanfics floating around this site, as long as they aren't official Mega Man characters. For example, do you want to be Rhythm_BCA's Melodia? Perhaps you'd like being EEKADO from Beta and Mega's comic? What about the fabled Moonstone from MusicalKitty's Megabound? What about [REDACTED] from SSN's game? BUT(t) here's a twist! IF these projects use an official Mega Man character, but are able to make them different to the official character, you can choose them. Pun-Loving Cut's Corner Cut Man and Short Alien Megabound Slur are on the table, however, Super-Fighting Robot BCA/Beta and Mega Mega Man is not on the table. Also, I will deny Non-Project fan characters like Blaze Man or Ninja Man on sight, and likely Official MM Characters that aren't featured in any projects like Fan or Drill Man, unless if you provide a good spin on them, like Emotionless-Killer Fan, or Renowned Mathematician Drill Man.

As of now, I'm starting to consider the use of OCs as player options in Mystery Mansion. I will accept OC characters, but as long as you give them a proper bio and at least something about their personality. If you need help with developing a character's personality, I know how to help:
So, this is only one little thing, but it does go a very long way. Don't describe what the character is, but more what the character does. For example, instead of "She likes animals" you can say "She regularly holds bake sales in order to fund repopulation projects for her favorite endangered animals."
And if you even want, this article by TVtropes may or may not help you out with your bio

2. Sign Up Bios: You must provide information about your character. Their personality, motives, likes and dislikes are good. You may go into more descriptive if you want. I can understand if you pick a character from like Megabound and you cannot provide a really big bio because of the character or whatnot. As for official characters you are willing to take a spin on, I expect a descriptive bio, and at least so it doesn't seem like all you did was make Mega Man green and slightly shorter.

3. Combat-ish system: Along with the Roleplay itself, there will also be a combat-ish system I guess. In your character bio, specify whether your play-style is Aggressive Assertive or Passive and the combat-ish system will be ultra simplified:

-There will only be three stats: Health, Charisma, and Attack There is now five stats! And I've gone into much more detail about these stats as well!

Health:
Health is what keeps the player moving. Health, as in most games, is a value used to calculate how much a player can take before giving out. Every player starts at 20 Base Health, but there are many ways that Health can be boosted:
1.) Being hit by an attack that inflicts more than 1 point of damage will increase the player's Max Health by 1!

2.) Eating different foods. Luxurious or event foods will usually increase the player's health by 10-20. Some more common foods may only boost Health by 2-5.

3.) Quests/Dungeons will also occasionally increase Health when completed.

When a player's Health reaches 0, the player is taken to the entrance of the mansion with one of their items stolen by SSJ3 the moose. However, the player can always try and bribe or persuade him to give the item back.

Charisma:
Charisma, however, may be proven to be a bit more difficult to explain. Charisma is used for many things, such as:
1.) Interacting with enemies. Players may find themselves interacting and conversing with enemies. They might have an item a player is interested in, or the player may be trying to convince them not to attack. The general calculation for if an enemy will listen is usually Charisma = % Chance. Some more stubborn enemies may follow Charisma/2 = % Chance.

2.) Merchant Discounts. Most of the items bought in Mystery Mansion are through the merchants. Charisma will act as a percentage discount to these goods, the equation is (Charisma/10 = % Discount) although the cap for said discount is at 50%

3.) Enemy Drops. Enemies, when defeated, will usually have a small chance to drop an item. These item drops will have a base drop rate, but said rate will be increased by Charisma. The equation for said act is [BaseDrop * (Charisma/10)] = NewDrop. Most item drops will be simply healing items or other trinkets, but in the rare case that the enemy will drop a weapon, it will usually have a base of around 0.1%

4.) Entering Dungeons. Sure, being able to slaughter through anything possible is fun, but if you do not have enough Charisma, your options for dungeons are limited. However, there are always an assortment of quests in places like the Garden, Floor 4, Outside and the Chef's Room. As said earlier, quests are rather quick and give a well amount of money and Charisma.

There are many ways to gain Charisma as well. Many Luxurious foods will raise Charisma, doing quests will give around 5-20 Charisma per quest, and simply befriending an enemy in-battle nets a base amount of 5. Finishing dungeons will even raise the player's Charisma stat as well, although it is possible to lower your Charisma as well, although the only few recorded times it happened in Mystery Mansion were through less conventional means, so no need to worry about randomly losing 15 Charisma if you bump into an enemy on accident.

Attack:
Attack is the stat used to determine the strength of attacks, as well as strength-based overworld actions (such as pushing a heavy rock, the equation for that would be Attack = % of success). The actual damage an attack will do is calculated by [Attack - Defense]. Defeating an enemy will always increase the player's attack, along with getting new weapons, and sometimes even eating Luxurious or event foods!

Immunity -Although players do not have the Immunity stat, some major enemies will have them. Immunity is simply just a defense stat for defense-piercing weapon-based attacks, no need to worry about the stat.

P.Defense:
P.Defense stands for Player Defense, and is the defense stat used when attacked by player characters. This stat was mainly added in so players have a harder time with killing each other as easy as a 1000 C hot knife through soft butter. Player Defense can be increased by using items (such as the disposable equipment such as knives or ribbons that provide a +10 stat boost) and by getting hit by another player character as well will increase it by 5. Don't worry though, the mansion is a rather peaceful place and there will never be a 24/7 fear of being knocked out by other players.

N.Defense:
N.Defense stands for eNcounter Defense, and is the defense stat used when attacked by enemies. N.Defense is a rather hard stat to upgrade, only really being able to be increased by high level merchants on the higher floors of the mansion, or taking up any quests that involve creating an armor.

I'll also explain the three Play styles as well:
Aggressive Starting stats: Attack: 85 Charisma: 35
A play style for those who don't really want to befriend any encounters in the mansion, and just fight them. I should note that just because you pick an Aggressive play style, you aren't prohibited from befriending encounters.

Assertive Starting stats: Attack: 60 Charisma: 60
A play style for those that cannot choose between Aggressive or Passive, or want to be able to have the options to effectively kill or befriend encounters.

Passive Starting stats: Attack: 35 Charisma: 85
A play style for those who want to befriend the encounters in the mansion. I shall note that I will try to make the three play styles as equal as possible in terms of difficulty

4. Literary Roleplaying- Yes, I know that this'll be hard for me to explain unless if I do this, so:
Case A: "He flirts with the encounter, attempting to compliment its looks
Case B: "*flirts with encounter*"
I'd rather you to do this in the style of Case A. Write this as if you are writing a story, and please make your posts longer than three words.

Okay, I think that's it. If you do indeed have questions, I will answer them. This roleplay will start when at least two people join and are accepted, but you could join any time you want

@uraccountcrashed : Oh sure I kinda need a recap too

So right now, Ura is in the Cat Village (this small village of cats below Floor 1) and has a bouquet of Brash Roses. Ura's current quest is to deliver the bouquet of flowers, but her reward will depend on who she delivers the flowers too. Her options consist of:

House 1
Melancholy Cheetah

House 2
Angry Ocelot
Cat Children

Elementary School
Math Lion
English Tiger
Chemistry Cat
Fire Science Feline
Gender Studies Ocelot

Alternatively, if Ura wants to ignore the quest for now and explore, the following areas are available:
Floor 1
Lobby
Library
Ghost Leisure Room
Chef's Room

Outside
Spooky Tree
Lake
Garden

Does this help?
@NiceIce : Being met with the offer of mercy, the Peacock reluctantly nodded and shook NiceIce's hand. "Eh, sure. But if I were 20 years younger, I would've already beaten ye to a pulp!" The peacock sounded like an old, aggressive man. It was very surprising that he even accepted NiceIce's offer. +36.4 Zenny, +4 EXP
The Peacock then waddled away waddle waddle (till the very next day into the forest. However, he left a small, slightly dusty trading card on the ground. If NiceIce were to pick the card up, he would see a small illustration of a blue anthropomorpic Eagle robot posing on a rock. Under the illustration, the card read:
Attack Name: Storm Tornado v0.1
Info: Now you will be able to use a basic version of Storm Tornado! After you equip this attack, you will be able to blow away every single enemy away (Damage = Attack - 60). Not only is this attack affected by Wind Efficiency, but if the player uses a Freeze-typed move before using this attack, Storm Tornado will inflict 1.5x more damage, have a 10% chance to freeze each individual enemy, and also be affected by Freeze efficiency!"

Note: Can be taught to any robot-like organism. Simply apply the card to the arm cannon, and you will have the attack! Alternatively, if you don't have an arm cannon, the card can also be applied to a leg cannon, ankle cannon, chest cannon, shoulder cannon, lip cannon, bomb carrier, internal ammo storage, weaponized fist, signature weapon, electrified tail, cyromancing gloves, magic broomstick, or can be consumed.

Will NiceIce head out of the Forest, or head into Forest 2?

What will you do next?
@Walter : Being the narcissist he was, Proto Mk II tried calling attention to himself as he walked upstairs, only pausing to shove a Halloween Cookie down his throat [+6 Max HP, +20 Charisma]
"HEY EVERYBODY LOOK AT ME I'M GOING UPSTAIRS OH PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO ME!!" Proto yelled at the top of his lungs. Proto caught the attention of a few people, but they didn't seem very happy.
"Oh, gross. Keep that kind of stuff to yourself, there's children out here." The Lion Merchant called out, looking from his stand. He was handing a slice of cheesecake to an old woman.
"Eugh, kids these days." [-5 Charisma]

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Proto headed up to Floor 2, and had many different choices of where he could head off to.
Doors
Door 1: Laundry Room
Door 2: Empty(?) Dungeon
Door 3: Up to Floor 3
Door 4: Mr. Baudelaire's Office
Door 5: Chef's Room
Window
Garden
What will you do next?
@Capejedi : Cape grabbed the Bone Box. If he were to shake it, Cape would find out that the box held 8 bones, and there seemed to be a voice coming out from it. The voice said something among the lines of....
"Gosh, you should've seen me when I was in high school... I was the best skeleton in town, I played for the football team, I had tons of skeleton ladies wanting me, I was gonna head into the skeleton army when I graduated..."
Cape could hear a second voice coming out from the box. It's voice was as horrid and ear-grating as the font it spoke in
When Cape reached the garden, he looked up to check and see if he could grapple onto Floor 4. Indeed, he could- there was a small ledge that lead to a window that Cape could likely open up and break into. Unfortunately for him, though, there was a large, stone Gargoyle sitting in front of the window. If Cape were to inspect the statue, the following information would come up:
Gargoyle
Health: 190/190
Attack: 6
Defense: 50
Immunity: 20
Ability: Weak Armor - The Gargoyle will lose 5 Defense and gain .5 attack per attack that it takes. (When hit by an attack that hits multiple times, each hit is calculated. Try something that hits multiple times [like Slash Claw or Top Spin) if you want to lower its defense.) Its Defense will continue to lower, even if it drops below 0.
What will you do next?
@Pixel23 : Pixel walked over and greeted himself to the Greeter Ghost. The ghost smiled and tipped his hat.
"Wow, hello! I've greeted a lot of people, but no one else has greeted me in a long time! Do you need help with anything?" [+5 Charisma]
Other areas Pixel can enter include:
Floor 1
Ghost Leisure Room
Library
Chef's Room
Floor 2
Outside
What will you do next?
@RotomSlashBlast : Rotom tosses the Flea form away, which implodes against the Sniper Joe, destroying it! +16.5 Zenny
Rotom then played the Wooden Flute, recovering 20% of his Max Health [+10 Health] while slightly damaging the flute in the process [Uses: 4]
Rotom is currently on Floor 3
Locations
Floor 2
Go further into the lab!
Guardian Panda's Hut
Interactable Items
PC (UPDATE: CONTAINS BONUS BOSS)
Cup
What will you do next?
@Beta Man : Beta accepted the quest, then headed into the Teleport Capsule
He was transported to Floor 2. The first thing Beta saw was the local Robot Assist Mercant, holding blocks of various materials in his hands.
"Howdy there, fellow traveler! Are you in need of some precious metals, but mining for them is too much work? Well don't fret, 'cause your old pal Caesar has some precious metals just for you to buy!"
Materials
Metal Unit- 10 for 5 Zenny
Aluminum Unit- 10 for 8 Zenny
Update: Yea, organization!
I hope this helps, I mainly did this because, looking back to previous posts, looking at the player info page strained my eyes. I redid it so I can sort through it and have a less bad time doing so. This shouldn't affect you as a player too much, but this will help me in terms of having the motivation to update Mystery Mansion
As he picked the card up, and dusted it off, he muttered something. "A Eagle? Looks more advanced than anybody around here... Could ask Adrian about it, but first..." He looked back at his Roll, and looked at their buster, not knowing much else, they tried to find a spot on the buster, and just... Put it there, not knowing much else to do, and then he proceeded through the forest, hoping he doesn't encounter any more dangerous obstacles.
@Capejedi : Cape heals himself with the donut [Num. Gen: 3] and recovered +13 Health
Cape successfully grappled onto the ledge where the Gargoyle was sitting, and after asking him to move out, the Gargoyle didn't budge.
"I really would like to move, but I don't think I should. I'd really like to join the other people down there in the Garden, but I don't wanna look like a creep. Maybe if I had just one flower, I would blend in and look like the other gardeners, omething like a tulip or a rose..."
>Give Carnation
What will you do next?
@RotomSlashBlast : Rotom uses up the flute until it disappeared from his current plane of existance. +40 Health and interacted with the PC. When he had turned on the screen, a loud, feminine voice came out from the screen.
Ring.exe has appeared!! Why hello there, I am Ring.exe! I am a program that was inserted into the Mansion's computers in order for new Guardians to test out their strength, but I am also open up for the public as well. I hold rare Ceratanium weapons for those that defeat me, which can cut through any monster like butter! Would you like to open up the file for Ring.exe?
Weaknesses:Laser Freeze (NiceIce) Shadow (Beta Seriff) Cutter (Rotom: Lawnmower Form)
Resistances: Water (Rotom: Washing Machine Form Neutral (Every Player) Electric (Ura's Electric Fox. Rotom: PC Form. Rotom: Violin Form)
Ring.exe has appeared!! If you want, you can issue a Teleport Request to other players around the Mansion. If they consent to the request, they will automatically be teleported here to help you fight!
What will you do next?
@Beta Man : Caesar frowns, then pulls out a calculator. "I'm sorry, I'm not too good at math. I was a History teacher for a reason..." Caesar inputted a few numbers in his calculator, then looked back up to Beta with a smile. "Okay, that will be 18 Zenny, then!"
(I'm assuming that Beta goes through with the transaction)
Caesar takes the 18 Zenny and stuffs it into his pocket, walking to the back of his desk to pull out a small, brightly colored card similar to a trading card, handing it to Beta. "I'm giving out this card out to anyone who spends 10 or more Zenny at my shop. I'm developing a set of these Battlechips make specifically to improve the movesets of the assists I'm selling. This one is called..."
Battlechip 26: Copy Beam
Attack Bonus: +5
Effect: Copy Beam is a simple copy-typed attack that, when used, will take the type after the core type that inflicts the most damage to the target (i.e: if used against something that takes 2.5x damage from Space, it will copy that type after being used once). However, when Copy Beam is first used in-battle, it will be copy-typed, and will not take any other type when used by an opponent with an Immunity to Copy.
Can be used on: All Player Characters, Lonnie, Roll, Disco, Bass, Auto.
Part of the Caesar Set
"I'm really excited about these Battlechips. I'm selling packs of 2 chips right now, since they're taking kind of long for me to develop. Base Set packs (1-25) are 20 Zenny, and Caesar Set packs (26-50) are 35 Zenny.
What will you do next?
@NiceIce : When NiceIce had picked up the Battlechip, Roll was standing at the other side of the room, hopelessly trying to sweep away the leaves on the ground. When NiceIce had applied the Storm Tornado chip to her, Roll's clothing changed to a dull grey color, showing that she had successfully equipped the attack! (Being a support bot, the Attack bonus was multiplied by 1/3, going from Attack -60 to Attack -20!)
Going into the next room (Forest 2 out of 6) NiceIce was met with a bare room, with a small chest in the middle. However, a group of five small, angry-looking spiders were guarding the chest, rotating around it and occasionally screeching at NiceIce.
Angry Spider 1
@Walter : Proto Man Mk II moonwalked his way into the Chef's Room, but due to his over average balance, he didn't trip on anything whilst he walked backwards.
In the Chef's Room, the Chef was behind a counter, selling food (obviously). There wasn't very much food that Proto could steal, but there was a Half-Eaten Lemon Pie on an unoccupied table. There was also an intact Strawberry Shortcake still packaged, sitting in a garbage can, though the garbage can was kind of sketchy. The garbage can might've been an actual monster itself!
Update-ish: In order to combat the lack of type variety in the weapons that players have, every player's normal attack will now be half Neutral, and half whatever core type they're listed as in Mystery Mansion (which is 9 times out of 10, whatever core type the player chose as their profile color).
For example, Rotom's profile color is Time, so his normal attack is half-Time.
Oh and we hit 1100 comments too. Rad
@Musical : "Well isn't THAT neat. Spiders huh? Wonder what those two seem to be talking about... And these weaklings? Look bubs, do you REALLY think, you can take on the WIND and ICE. You would be BLOWN away to your doom. And don't get me started on my ICE SLASHER. You would FREEZE to death immediately, look bub, you have NO chance." Try to get them to back off by INTIMIDATION. If successful, open the chest in the room.
Thanks for the offer, but I'll pass.
Serif, after taking the needed materials and the Battlechip already handed to him, heads his way back to Mike (be it teleporter if it followed him or going all the way back to the lake if not).
@Beta Man : Beta entered the green teleporter, and had reached Mike's abode within a matter of seconds.
~~~

When Beta had reached Mike's building, he was already working on SOL-000, repairing the robot's frame.
"Oh, you have the materials? That's great, now I can finally work on the Starforce Filter." Mikey grabbed the materials and lied them on the table, pulling a small, red bill and an attachable pin, handing the objects to Beta.
"Like I promised, I would pay you for the errand. I only have 40 Zenny to give you, but I also have this Filter Badge I would like to hand to you."

-Beta Serif has obtained a Filter Badge-

"The Filter Badge is a badge of mine that I have developed to be used to combat against the effects of Starforce. Not only does this badge allow you to buy the Centaur Man, Tomahawk Man, Auto, and Reggae assists from Caesar, but the power of all Neutral attacks will be boosted by 50% (Note: attacks that are half-Neutral will only have a 25% boost) and if you're hit by an attack affected by an efficiency, the damage will be reduced by 25%"

Mikey continued working with the materials, eventually ending up with a small, cylindrical device attached to the side of SOL's visor. It appeared very much like a water filter.
"Now, if you want another badge, you can find the Morph Badge deep into the lab on Floor 3. Most monsters up on Floor 3 are affected by Starforce, so that new badge you have would be perfect for dealing with them."

What will you do next?
@Walter : Proto Man Mk II grabbed the packaged Strawberry Shortcake from the top of the garbage can and dashed away. The garbage can rattled a bit, and a voice could be heard mumbling inside of it. Eventually, a girl with pale skin in a purple sweater popped out from the garbage can, shaking her fist at Proto Man Mk II.
"Eyy, I stole that first!" she then threw a rock at Proto, but the throw was too weak to actually inflict damage upon Proto.

Strawberry Shortcake
Not actually made by the Chef, but by the Baker on floor 4. Increases Health by 10, Charisma by 20, and N.Defense by 3. Attack stat is lowered by 15, however.

The price is estimated to be about 35 Zenny, but the player can choose to sell it for more or less than the original amount.

Proto Mk II safely arrived back to Floor 2, safe from whoever was living in the trash can.

What will you do next?
@Pixel23 : When Pixel had arrived to talk with the Chef, he was preparing a plate of lasagna for a fat, orange cat who was sitting at the counter. When he had caught sight of Pixel, the Chef flashed a smile to him and handed the plate over to the cat.
"Hello there, I don't think I've ever seen you here before! Well, in the case you haven't, I am the Chef, and I am one of the two people that cooks all of the food in this mansion. Although I do sell basic foods, I love making big, extravagant dishes for people. The only price I ask for these Luxurious Dishes is practically anything green!"

For Sale:
Loaf of Plain Bread: 1 0.9 Zenny
Replenishes 1 Health. The taste is so dull that it has inspired people to put nuts, fruits, cinnamon, raisins, jellies, butters, and even powdered sugar on it!
Orange Juice: 5 4.55 Zenny
Replenishes 6-8 Health, has a 10% to increase Charisma by 5. orange juice is the best beverage in the world and you can't tell me otherwise
Eclair: 8.5 7.75 Zenny
Replenishes 10-15 Health
Ketchup-Covered Egg 20 18.5 Zenny
Replenishes 25-35 Health. Such a sinful combination
Nut Bread: Green Cloth
Replenishes 50-55 Health. Raises Health by 4, Charisma by 10, P.Defense by 15, and N.Defense by 1. If the player has 4 Nuts and a Loaf of Plain Bread, the chef will make this for 5 Zenny.

"If you can't afford my food at the moment, I do have some errands you could do for me for food."

Quests
"Defeat the Spaghetti Monster!"
Reward: French Toast (Max HP +12)
Info: Head into the kitchen and deal with the eldritch spaghetti fiend inside. The Spaghetti Monster has about 115 Health, an a 2x weakness to Neutral attacks

"Collect Rare Ingredients"
Reward: Blackberry Cobbler (Max HP +6, Charisma +25)
Info: The Chef will give you 25 Zenny to go to the Garden and purchase 15 Blackberries (1 Blackberry costs about 1.5 Zenny)

What will you do next?
Oh geez, character limit

@Capejedi : The gargoyle grabbed the carnation, giving an ambiguously evil grin.
"Oh yes, finally! I finally have a carnation!" the gargoyle screeched out in joy, shoving the flower into his mouth. The gargoyle then started to morph into the shape of an old woman in a sunhat. She jumped off from the ledge and joined the other gardeners, joining a conversation with the other gardeners while Cape entered Floor 4.

~~~~~~~~~~
Like what others had talked about, Floor 4 was a large and rather fancy room, with many bored, rich people running about. The main room had a large choir of ghosts to make the room feel more ambient. There was a large, black counter on the other side of the room that served Generic Buffet Food but besides that, the room was rather barren. However, there were three doors to Cape's right.
Doors
Door 1: Baker's Cafe
Similar to the Chef's Room. Contains a large, cafe-like room with a Baker selling fresh baked goods and juices. Many customers in the cafe may trade items for Zenny here.
Door 2: Open Market
Contains a keysmith, a farmer's market, one of Caesar's Battlechip kiosks, and a cheetah selling magic rings (effects of rings depend on what is used as the jewel. Anything from rocks to gems to bones will work.)
Stairs
Floor 3
Floor 5
What will you do next?
@NiceIce : NiceIce attempts to intimidate the spiders (160 Attack/4 = 40% Chance *1.15 (Wind) *1.25 (Freeze) = 58% chance)
(No. Gen = 85) Angry Spider 1 stayed put [-5 Health]
(No. Gen = 53) Angry Spider 2 ran away [+3 Zenny]
(No. Gen =40) Angry Spider 3 ran away [+5 Zenny]
(No. Gen =13) Angry Spider 4 ran away [+18.5 Zenny]
(No. Gen =33) Angry Spider 5 ran away [8.5 Zenny]
Zenny Total: 35 Zenny
Angry Spider 1
Health: 65/70
Defense: 0
Attack: 3
Angry Spider 1 shot a poisonous needle at Roll! [-2 Health]
Wind efficiency: 1.3x
Freeze efficiency: 1.5x
What will you do next?
@RotomSlashBlast : Rotom switched to Lawnmower Form! [Stats = 180 Attack, 2 Defense, 54 Health]
Rotom used Gear Grind! [Cutter Weakness = 1.2x]
(HH)
(180 + 30 - 10 = 200 * 1.2 * 1.25 = [-300 Health]
Ring.exe
Health: 2700/3000
Attack: ???
Defense: 0
Immunity: 10
Ability: Net Phase- Ring.exe's attacks aren't affected by the opponent's Defense stats, but still affected by damage lowering moves
"Since this is the first round, I'll go easy on you!" Ring.exe computed a randomized string of commands...
B2-C2-A1
B2- Attack +1
Ring's attack for the rest of the turn was raised by 1
C2- Cannon
Ring aimed the cannon to Rotom, then shot the blast in his direction! [3 + 1 = -4 Health]
A1- Ring Rang
Ring tossed two rings at Rotom! [2(2 + 1) = -6 Health]
Total Health loss: 10
