So, here’s a stupid-a** idea that I had. To be blunt, it's basically roleplaying people who are role playing.
The characters playing the game can be anyone you want, although preferably it should be an original character of yours.
The actual game part will be a D&D-esque fantasy board game.
Creation will be made of several levels. This bit is a bit of an amalgamation of 5 different kinds of creation, so try to bear with me.
STATS Each stat is scaled 1-10, and there while you can use any amount on any stat, the total number of all the stats added up must equal exactly 40
Strength How hard you hit things Defense How much you resist physical attacks Accuracy How often you hit things Magic How hard you can magic things Resistance How much you resist magic attacks Endurance How much stamina and health you get Speed Increases movement and chance of dodging
There are 3 general classes, each getting divided into 3 sub-classes FIGHTER The general “hit things” class, and will favor Strength and Defense Knights: Favor 1-handed weapons, generally focus on hitting hard Barbarians: Favor 2-handed weapons, generally tankier Brawlers: Favor good ol fisticuffs, and are focused on hitting faster ROGUES focus on speed and accuracy: Ranger: Bow/Arrow, hide behind everyone so you can shoot them and steal the xp Assassins: Hit things hard before they hurt you Thiefs: knives, focus on stealing and debuffs MAGES The magic men, focus on Magic and Resistance Black Mage: Cast things to hurt the other guys, focus on Attack magic White Mage: Cast things to keep everyone alive to hurt the other guys, focus on healing Green Mages: Cast things to help your party hurt the other guys faster, focus on buffing
NOTE: Since the character creation is done in-universe, try to create characters that your characters would be likely to create and play as.
Combat system: This is gonna be basic JRPG System, i.e. a turn based system.
I'll probably start when there's at least 3 guys that signed up.

This seems decently well planned, but I have a question, can characters have unique-ish traits, that may provide a upside and downside, (seeing as i was planning on making a black mage-esque character, a "Ghost Witch", of the such, based off a idea that i just scribbled out from my head about 12 hours ago, that would have a natural immunity to physical attacks, but have weaknesses to light and normal ways of healing, and can only be healed by dark attacks. just a little-ish question before i do something with life here.)
