The previously held rule to unlock a new Robot Master is to defeat them in their lairs with only Neutral abilities, but the new MM3 Robot Masters do not have them. Do you have to do the bonus Robot Masters battle to unlock them?

@ArcherMan234 : If my memory serves me correctly, you're only able to transfer robots between the three doctors until Chapter 2 is finished. Of course, I might be wrong about that. Once you do get that feature though, you can head on to the "Player" tab within the Prototype game to switch, and from there it should be relatively self-explanatory. If it isn't self-explanatory though, feel free to PM me and I'll elaborate on the process further if need be.

How do I get megaman 5 and up robot masters
sorry megabossman and thank you thedoc Hey what is with different colored robot masters on megabossman and thedoc team
Also like your avatar thedoc
Also my doctor light has all the robot masters I have seen other than the ones that I put on there and the ones I did not put on there they do not appear in the screen before battlesDouble-posting's one thing, but c'mon man, five posts succeeding each other in 10 minutes? There honestly isn't an excuse or defense for that. The edit button exists for a reason, please use it from now and read the Community rules.--MBM
1. "How do I get megaman 5 and up robot masters" A. The Megaman 5+ robot masters are currently unavailable. I'm fairly certain we've gone over this before with you (and if we haven't, we have with another person a little higher up on this page). While you can battle them in Fusion Fields and Bonus Field, there is no legitimate method for unlocking them for use.
2. "Hey what is with different colored robot masters on megabossman and thedoc team" A. Please keep up with the updates to the prototype. The different colored robot masters are a new mechanic recently added called "alts." If memory serves me correctly, after you beat the game, you can purchase alts for robot masters in Auto's shop. They cost quite a bit (especially the darkness alts) but if you have a high enough summon count for a certain robot, you can obtain them for free. After you've purchased an alt, you can use them as your avatar and/or set them to the designated robot master to be seen by the world in player battles.
3. "Also my doctor light has all the robot masters I have seen other than the ones that I put on there and the ones I did not put on there they do not appear in the screen before battles" A. ...I have no idea what you're saying. Sorry to put this bluntly, but please improve your grammar to get this answered. I honestly have no idea what you're trying to say.
@Retro Pikachu : One of the reasons question 3 is difficult to understand is because it's a bug that's not really normal, but checking his Dr. Light team, a visual error is occurring where every robot, and I mean every, is showing up under his control. Adrian has been made aware of the bug and with any luck it can be easily fixed.

@megaman zero : @The Zion : Unfortunately, that is an issue, and the matter at issue here is that you have to be 13 years or older to create an account in Mega Man RPG Prototype, otherwise you have to have your parents sign a COPPA form in order to join and interact with other players. This isn't just a policy in Prototype either, multiple sites use it as it has the possibility to lead to legal trouble. Essentially megaman zero is on here breaking legal issues and will likely need to have their COPPA formed signed and sent in order to continue playing and interaction here at Prototype. And yes, it's entirely possible that megaman zero has already done this, but it's something I'll need to fact-check with the other staff members and to be quite frank, it's more often to see users falsify their birthdates instead to sneak past. While it's unfortunate, it's the word of the federal law and that's not necessarily something that can be argued with.
@mello_man25 : You need kalinka's shop of course, also you need to go to the bonus stages and find any MM3 bot to scan them so you can unlock their stage and get them, of course you need to use neutral only attacks to unlock them of course.

First off, thanks for joining prototype and all that.
Now, its likely what you mean is that you are saying that you used a elemental damaging move in the stage yet you still got Cutman? As long as you don't use a elemental attack directly on Cutman, you will still get Cutman. I don't know what you mean by this otherwise... ...also, please don't comment on threads that their last comment was 6+ months ago. :)
EDIT: Upon further inspection, it seems you meant you got Cutman the normal way. That's because he is a MM1 robot, not a MM3 robot. (This is why you double-check the thread for trying to help, folks....)
Go to the "players" tab, and on a any of the doctor you want, and change one of the fields from whatever it is for you now to the Mega Man 3 fields you bought.
@Buddy1 : At the moment, only the Robot Masters from the first 4 Mega Man games are unlockable. Defeating Grenade Man sadly won't earn you anything much beyond bragging rights.
